All of Cedar City Hospital's imaging services were previously offered only through the hospital, where both inpatient and outpatient experiences—although very different—were following the same flows. Repurposing a vacated retail building nearby for licensed healthcare allowed this remodel to focus entirely on outpatient-specific care.

By relocating services, outpatient navigation has been simplified and stress reduced before patients even enter the building: there are fewer decision points, and the process from check-in to check-out is much more straightforward.

Inside, sensitive services such as biopsy and mammography are secluded from main traffic flows, enhancing the sense of patient privacy and security. The interiors and amenities emulate a spa's environment to further increase patient comfort, dignity, and confidence in the quality of care.
